The Alphabet

Maybe it's watching Elmo rap the alphabet over and over (and over and over) again, maybe it's her little refrigerator thing that sings the alphabet, maybe it's her little caterpillar toy that sings the alphabet... but AC is learning to sing her ABC's!!!

She can (very clearly) sing A,B,C,D,E.....then a bunch of mumbling... then L,M,N,O,P (comes out em-mem-nim-o-pee) then more mumbling... then T,U,V, W, X, Y, Z (E,U,V da-du, eggs, y an z) ...
But just the fact that she can get all those in the right order and get the sounds out is pretty darn good!!!

She is also getting that the alphabet song and twinkle twinkle little star are the same tune - she will sing half of one then finish up with half of the other haha.

She is still counting 2, 5, 6, 9 but has added 1 at the beginning and occasionally adds ten at the end. Just need to work on 3, 4, 7 and 8 hahah.

Still working on the play room. I made a cover for the toy chest (that doesnt even have toys in it - it has blankets and pillows for the guest bed haha) and made a few throw pillows. Also made a dust ruffle for the futon and covered it. It's slowly coming along!!

Oh - and AC got her own computer too. She loves watching elmo on Sesame Street.com so I set up my old computer in her play room. Just need to hook up the internet ;)


Throw pillows I made... the little stripe thing will be a baby doll quilt or something. It just needed more color down there ;)
