Anna's heat rash is FINALLY going away. I took her to the doctor on the 10th because she had a red itchy rash on her face. She kept rubbing at her face and you could tell she was uncomfortable. The doctor told me it was a combination of atopic dermotitis, miliaria rubra, and neonatal acne... Well, I googled them and found atopic dermotitis (eczema) and neonatal acne (baby acne), but couldn't find the other one. The rash still wasnt clear a week later so I started googling again. This time I searched for "heat rash" because someone suggested that may be what it is. Well - there it was, right in front of my face - Miliaria Rubra aka Prickly Heat aka Heat Rash. Apparently I couldnt read the doctors writing and was googling the wrong thing.

Well after I read that, I stopped swaddling her at night and kept her as cool as possible. It finally started clearing up this week and I think it's gone now! It comes back a litle when she gets hot, but I try my best to keep her nice and cool. Guess it's just a normal baby thing.
