Well - I guess 2 months is enough to say it's OFFICIAL that AC is potty trained ;) She started 2 days before her 2.5 year old 'birthday' and once she made her mind up she didn't want diapers - it was a done deal!!! We still put them on her at night and called them her "Night time big girl panties" - but she grabbed my face one night, looked me in the eye and said "Mommy - they - are - diapers" ahhahaa. She's too smart for me ;)
She's still loving school and we have her registered for 4 days a week next year. We will probably take the summer off and just send her to VBS.
A few things she says that cracks me up:
When I pick her up from school and ask her what she did - she will say one of two things..... either "I do Kellen" (which is a little boy in her class) or "I played with cars and motorcycles" - I swear she must do that every day!!!
She also calls eyebrows either "eye browns" or "ribbons" - I have NO clue where she got "ribbons" from but that's what she calls them ;)
When she REALLY wants something she will put on her BEST manners and say slowly and with intent "Mommy PLEASE can I have some chocolate milk PLEASE. Yes Ma'am. Thank you" all in one breath hahaha. I can't help but to laugh ;)
When we put her to bed lately she's been saying "Wanna rock for a minute" in the sweetest voice - she NEVER used to let me rock her as a baby - how can I refuse??
She is very intent on memorizing books. She has quite a few memorized now.. That's Not My Dolly, Hand Hand Fingers Thumb, Brown Bear Brown Bear, Hungry Little Caterpillar (which she has recently mastered), she's currently working on Goodnight Moon and Going on a Bear Hunt. And she wants to say them over and over and over.
She LOOOOOVES singing, painting and coloring.
She doe NOT like getting her picture taken - and usually has a little melt down when I try.
She LOOOOOOVES being naked. Like - stripped down and run around without clothes. Hopefully this will pass.
She's been great in her big girl bed - usually stays put once she goes down. Sometimes she will get up and get a book - but will go right back to bed.
I'll have to come back and add more as I think of it... but in the meantime here are some pics from today. We went out to get the mail and when she saw it had rained she was dying to get her boots on and her umbrella and splash in puddles. Nope - she would NOT let me put pants on her.....

Anna Claire Update
I don't even know where to begin on the updates since I'm so far behind... So here are a couple of quick stories and photos.
The weekend of Feb 24-26th I was going out of town for a half marathon in Disney and Anna Claire stayed home with Chris. I was THOROUGHLY impressed that he was brave enough to take her to Walmart for a boat cover, drive 1.5 hours down to the farm, spend the night with her there and drive 1.5 hours back the next day!! He said they had a blast cooking, flying the kite, going out on the boat and spending time with Philip and Kayla.
Story #2:
Anna Claire is OBSESSED with the clocks chiming at my parents house. She even knows when one chimes that the other will chime shortly after. Two nights ago she looked up at the clock and saw it was something:30 and said "IT'S GONNA RING IT'S GONNA RING!!!" Literally pulled up a kitchen chair in front of it and said "it's coming, it's coming, it's coming...." but we have our chime turned off. I couldn't help but to get a little sad for her so I turned the chime on. It took a few cycles but when it rang for the first time the look on her little face when OUR clock chimed was priceless. Every 15 minutes the clock chimes and each time she gets every bit as excited. Love the little things in life!!!!
And finally - a few photos:
