Trying to catch up again...
AC is 21months old and can count all the way to 13!!! We have been counting everything to her since she was little and she mastered 1,2,5,6,9... On April 30th she learned how to count all the way to 10.... then a few weeks ago she added 11, as of last week she can count 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13!!
She is still working on her ABC's and getting a little better.
She sings EVERYTHING. Her favorite songs are still twinkle twinkle little star (that she can sing pretty clearly), happy birthday to you, and she's kinda got the words down for itsy bitsy spider. She knows Tura Lura Lura and sings that alot. She has a LOT of Mr. Eric's songs down like 1,2,3 Wee!, I love it, hey hey how do you do, and a few others I can't remember.
She's talking in short sentences now like "Thank you mama", "want to eat", "can I have it", "want to hold you", "watch Good Bird (big bird)", "Wan go outside", "put shirt on/put pants on", "go upstairs and pway"... etc. She is getting the thank you / your welcome thing down. Sometimes she will say your welcome ('or wa-come') for us.
She now prays before she eats at dinner... it's like a blalbakbabbjbaj AMEN. But its so cute!!
She can pretty much ask for anything she wants by name and if she doesnt know it she will say "foof one" (this one) and we will tell her the name of it and she will repeat it. There is very little she doesnt say or doesnt attempt to say.
She's been climbing more on chairs and stuff... she LOVES to walk up and down the stairs the 'right' way (no more climbing on hands and knees). She loves to dance to music.
She loves to 'take pookas' (take pictures) with my camera and will try to look through the viewfinder, run around holding it up saying CHEESE!!!
She can climb up the stairs and go down the 'big' slide all by herself at the park (really it's the little slide but much bigger than the one at our house)
She went to the beach for the 2nd time and LOOOOOOVED it but I'll do a full post on that later.
She has quite the personality and will do stuff to intentionally make us laugh. If she says something and we laugh - she will keep saying it to get a laugh and will even remember days later what it was she said and say it agan.
She LOVES talking on the phone. She will walk around with the phone for 30 minutes at a time just rambling to people on the other end and sometimes listing stuff in the room. She constantly asks to call people.
She's still anti-meats of any sorts, so we have to find creative ways to get protein to her... but she seems to be growing so I guess we are ok so far.
She has been almost 100% on pooping in the potty and is even showing interest and telling us when she has to go pee pee. We aren't forcing the issue, but she loves when we clap and cheer for her when she goes. If she doesnt train her self by the time she's 2 to be peepee trained I may try to start encouraging it - but right now it's convenient for me to use diapers hahaha. We've had a few close calls with her asking to go 'poo poo' but she held it until we got home! She still sometimes goes during nap time.
She's just an all around awesome kid. Wish I was better about recording all the funny things she does... I've been good about keeping up my 365 blog so you can kinda see what we do each day. I'll try to recap more as think of it.
OH Teeth.... I've been HORRIBLE about recording when she gets teeth because she usually cuts them pretty easily and I dont even know until I see them. She has all 4 molars now so she has 12 full teeth now. She's working on her eye teeth and has the top left and bottom left breaking through and I think the other 2 are right at the surface. I'll try to think of when exactly she got the molars.... but I just can't remember!!
