Date with Philip and Kayla

Philip and Kayla invited us over for some DELICIOUS hand made pizza on the big green egg.  I mean literally - they made the dough and everything!!!  Of course I didn't get pics of the pizza because by then I was trying to wrangle a busy 20month old... but you can see what we did while we waited for the pizza dough to rise :)

Music classes - The Learning Groove

I took AC to a free demo class for The Learning Groove - a music class for kids.  The author for Pete the Cat: I love my white shoes taught one in Decatur and I've been wanting to get her into some type of music class - so we signed up for the demo.  She was shy, as I expected, but would clap along and really seemed to enjoy it.  I think it will help her open up around other people.  She is SO outgoing at home and will sing, dance, and talk up a storm but gets SO shy around groups.

The class is 10 weeks so it will be fun to see how she progresses.  Mr. Eric sings, plays guitar, plays harmonica,  has musical instruments for the kids to use, we use a parachute, dance and all sorts of stuff.  I LOVE it because he does the classic songs but he also writes songs and we sing NEW original songs in class!!  He even tested out a new poem with us in class!  Never been heard before ;)
